What it is, and what it is for
ROCKSOLAR 24 V 50 Ah Deep Cycle LiFePO4 Battery
A 1,280 Wh lithium iron phosphate battery at 25.6 V nominal, with a built-in BMS, for a 24 V system: a trolling motor, an electric outboard, a small off-grid cabin or workshop bank, or an RV that runs a 24 V inverter. At 24 V the same power moves at half the current of a 12 V bank, so cables are thinner and the inverter runs cooler.
It delivers 100 A continuous (2.5 kW) and 200 A for 10 seconds, and accepts up to 100 A of charge, so a 20 A to 50 A charger or a solar controller fills it from empty in one to two and a half hours of good input. Two in series make a 48 V bank, and units in parallel add capacity. Rated for 3,500 or more cycles, it keeps working past a decade of daily use, and the BMS guards against over-charge, over-discharge, short circuit and out-of-range temperature. Do not charge it below 0 °C.
Charge it with a 24 V (29.2 V) LiFePO4 charger or a controller with a lithium profile, not a lead-acid charger. The battery ships at about 50 percent charge. 11-year warranty.
