The existing system uses a 12V 200Ah LiFePO₄ battery and 2000W pure sine wave inverter designed to provide clean AC power for common off-grid loads.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/45

The upgraded Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/45 Solar Charge Controller uses ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking to maximize solar energy harvest, including during changing light and partial-shading conditions. Built-in Bluetooth allows easy setup, monitoring, and firmware updates from compatible devices.

For a 12V battery system, the MPPT 150/45 supports 45A charging and up to 650W nominal PV power, making it well suited to this 600W solar array.
