What it is, and what it is for
A ready-made pair of 4 AWG battery-to-inverter cables, 8 ft (96 in) long, with 3/8″ ring lugs crimped and heat-shrunk on both ends. One red, one black, so the run from a battery bank to an inverter, busbar or disconnect is a bolt-up job rather than a crimping session.
- 4 AWG, 8 ft (96 in) per cable, red and black pair
- 3/8″ ring lugs at each end — fit the 3/8″ studs on most inverters, busbars and battery disconnect switches
- For 12 V to 48 V battery systems; suits inverters up to about 3 kW at 48 V or 1.5 kW at 24 V over this length — check the continuous current in your inverter manual and fuse the battery side as it directs
- Pairs with ROCKSOLAR LiFePO4 batteries, the 400 A busbar and the 1-2-Both-Off battery disconnect
