Each system here is a Growatt hybrid inverter, a high-voltage LiFePO4 battery and an automatic transfer switch, supplied as one matched package: it charges from your solar array or from off-peak grid power, runs the house on the battery when rates are high, and takes over within a fraction of a second when the grid fails, then hands back when it returns.

There are two sizes of backup. Partial home backs up an essentials sub-panel: fridge, freezer, furnace fan or boiler, well pump, lights, internet and a few outlets, from a 3.8 kW or 6 kW inverter with 5 kWh or 10 kWh of battery. Whole home backs up the main panel, including central air, an EV charger or a pool pump, from an 11.4 kW inverter with 10 kWh or 20 kWh of battery. In both, the ATS-XH-US backup box gives split-phase 120/240 V output and the smart meter lets the inverter see what the house is using.
Solar panels are not included in these listings, because most homes adding backup already have an array or want it sized separately; each product page lists exactly what ships. Racking is quoted with the panels. To size the battery, add up the loads you need through an outage and how many hours you want to ride through; the finder above will size it from your loads, or send us your panel and loads and we will spec it. Installation is by a licensed electrician, and the interconnection is approved by your utility.
